When ai first started to gain traction, I wanted to use it to make teaching easier. I work with students in high school and I started using ai to help build me educational .html modules to help students learn difficult concepts with interactive charts and hints in a way that I couldn't do live or on online sessions. This turned into making educational webapps with a privacy-first focus. Nothing on my site collects user data of any kind. None of the tools or apps send any data anywhere. That was the one thing I wanted to stick with because I like the idea of being able to use things that don't spy on me or send my kid's data somewhere without my full understanding of what was being sent. As I used ai more, I started to get interested in more complex projects, trying things like android apps and rust/tauri/solidjs desktop apps with all products following the same simple rules : don't take user data. be useful. The site is always under work, so the tools on the page might change their look or add functions. I have never coded before, so I never know if I'm doing something right or wrong, but it's been fun to see students using the tools and apps I make.
