Like Bump, but uses sounds to share

This has been around for a while, but I've seen older (circa 2012) products shared here. Anyways, I think this had/has so much potential. Items (e.g. pictures) are transferred to others via sound. Each transfer has a unique sound ID, which facilitates downloads. Say you're at a meeting and you want to share a document--you can share with those in the room and those connected remotely, because it uses sound and not proximity to share.
Chirp founder here - AMA. Chirp can broadcast on any device that carries sound - radio, TV, mobile and now laptops.
PS Chirp is not very much like bump, which used a timestamp and was highly unreliable. But test Chirp for yourself.... :)
