Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m the maker of ChineseNameGuide. This started from a simple frustration: most “Chinese name generators” online were either random, cringy, or culturally off. As a native Chinese speaker, I kept seeing foreign friends pick names that sounded childish, weird, or carried strange implications in real life — just because the tool told them it “meant something nice”. With ChineseNameGuide I wanted to do two things: Make it easy for non-native speakers to get a realistic Chinese name Make it safe by surfacing how native speakers actually feel about those names What I’d love your feedback on: – Are the explanations clear enough if you don’t know any Chinese? – Does the flow of choosing a name feel simple and fun? – What other use cases should we support (business names, pen names, etc.)?
