This is a product designed by a teacher in the English academy (Hakwon) system in South Korea. It was designed to fill gap of parents being too busy to help their children after work or not having the English knowledge to explain the homework to their child. Chekki AI scans the homework and automatically generates the answers on the worksheet and also gives bilingual explanations on how Chekki got to the answer. Thus, allowing parents to see the answers but also explain it to their child.
As a teacher in the Korean hagwon system, I have seen first-hand how students cannot get the support they need at home to further enhance their learning experience. To the point, where schools have discouraged teachers from sending homework home. We are required to do the homework in class with the students before they leave. This came down to two things. 1. Parents do not have enough time to help their children. 2. They don't possess English skill necessary to explain or work through the homework together. This is how the idea of Chekki AI was born. I hope to reach households and make learning at home a bit easier. I am open to any feedback and suggestions on how to make this launch work and further improve this product. Thank you for your time.
