Hi guys, I am Shedrack Erugo, cofounder of Chefefeed. Started Chefefeed after escaping the Russian invasion into Ukraine and barely could access a good meal. Then realized it’s so many people’s day to day. That food insecurity is worsening with time as food waste increases and damages our planet. Just in 2024 282 million people in 59 countries experienced high levels of acute hunger; that’s 24 million increase from last year. The duality is that 1 billion meals are wasted everyday, 60% from households. So we decided that we will eliminate household food waste providing food access to many and reducing its effects on our climate. To save our planet we all need to work together, sell and buy food sustainably, a circular system that rewards you instantly and your future generations. Our mission is to eliminate household food waste. HOW IT WORKS Surplus tomatoes from your garden? Your neighbor would love them, share and reduce your carbon footprint. Extra meal prep, another family gets a dinner, donate and feed someone. Food vendor or micro baker ; sell, earn more and make an impact.
