👋 Hey Product Hunt! I built ChatOver because YouTube's "fullscreen" mode isn't actually fullscreen—it's split-screen with chat stuck on the right side, wasting half your screen. The problems I wanted to solve: 🚫 Can't watch streams in true fullscreen WITH chat visible 🚫 Streamers don't always show chat on stream 🚫 YouTube's native chat lags and crashes during long streams ChatOver fixes all of this! It's a free browser extension that overlays chat transparently on top of the video, so you get: ✅ TRUE fullscreen with chat visible anywhere you want ✅ Drag, resize, and customize everything (fonts, colors, transparency) ✅ Works in fullscreen, theater, and normal modes ✅ Lightweight - zero lag Currently available for manual installation (Chrome/Firefox).
