I come from a family of DIYers. Growing up, my parents were always doing everything around the house. So when I bought my first home, I started doing all sorts of DIY projects: painting rooms, swapping out light fixtures, replacing my garbage disposal etc. I'm no expert though so I rarely made it through a project without getting stuck. When you are stuck in the middle of a project, rummaging through the internet for the answer to your question can be quite frustrating. Nothing beats asking an expert who has done it all before. We are doing much more than that - but appreciate your healthy skepticism ;) Our Experts are trained with decades of 'handy' experience and on call to handle personalized situations (something YouTube really can't do). We find that this gives people the confidence to take on things they'd otherwise be hesitant to do. We believe this is meaningfully different than searching the web. Also, re the pricing of our tools - you'll find that they are priced very fairly below what people would pay for professional brands yet they are of the same quality (and literally made in the same factories as pro hand tools). They also come with a lifetime warranty so the investment is a good one. Happy to clarify any other points!!
