Hi - I'm the founder of Catalyst, a marketplace where companies can create a sales organization on demand and professionals get access to amazing contract opportunities. Not unlike Cavalry, but we offer a networking layer that connects founders and professionals which people are very excited about. Currently, we're in a very limited beta, prelaunch really. We're piloting select companies, on boarding professionals and accepting applications for the network. Any thoughts or questions, please feel free to reach out
I really like the innovation happening in this space, specifically vertical marketplaces around labor that can move the needle for companies. Sales and growth is certainly one of them, which is what Catalyst focuses on. I do wish they offered an example of the product before the registration flow, as it's difficult to get a good sense of how it works. Also, Catalyst reminds me of another player in this space called Cavalry:
@daveambrose Agreed - I also wish they would give you an idea of pricing
@daveambrose Thanks hunting down Catalyst and for your sharp insight on vertical marketplaces. Building traditional sales and growth organizations is incredibly inefficient and inflexible. Companies that don't get it right (esp. the young ones) are at a real disadvantage. Startups like Catalyst, Cavalry (good catch), Rev or Gigster as examples that can innovate on the traditional team model can offer businesses viable, maybe even better, solutions.
Brilliant! Codementor for sales.
The sales pitch is strong on the website, but it kind of sounds too good to be true. Any real life examples/case studies/references?
Hi @lumbadoja, thanks for your interest! Unfortunately no case studies just yet as we are still in a very limited beta. When that changes, I'll be sure to post here.
@daigz thanks Adam. Any hints as to pricing? I may be interested in your beta for a new product we've built.
@lumbadoja I don't want to say too much as we're too early to settle on a business model. But what I can tell you is that you set your own pricing terms for contractors and we take a marketplace percentage out of that. Shoot me an email if you'd like to discuss in greater detail:
