I've build and launched this product in 2024 as I wanted to rewrite and extract that feature from an already existing project and also provide the solution for others. The idea was simple: So many apps generate PDFs, which can be really difficult to implement. Cassiopeia should be the all-in-one no-brainer solution: Simple send your template file as docx or odt along with your variable values and get a pdf back within seconds. The API is simple to use, fast, reliable and automatically scales with the load. And best of all: It's cheap.

Congrats on the launch! The name is a bit hard to remember🤣 but it seems to be very useful for businesses to generate pdfs for their clients. Are there any ways to customize the PDFs?

@kehui_guo Thank you very much! Yes, the name can be difficult :D Was hard to find something pdf related, which is not already taken. There is actually no way to NOT customize the PDF. You provide an office document as input, which can look however you want.

Congratulations on launching! This sounds useful for businesses needing to automate their document processes efficiently. Few immediate feedback: 1. Your main CTA button "Start Building" leads to your documentation site. It should lead to a sign up page, if you want conversions. 2. The UX for sign-up and login form can be improved. It's at the start of your user's conversion journey and creating a not so good impression there can hurt sign-ups. People judge you more at the beginning.

Congratulations on launching 🚀 This sounds like a great tool for companies wanting to automate their processes. Some feedback: In your pricing you have this: - Generate unlimited PDFs - 500 free requests per month - 0.005€ per request (usage based) 45€/month + usage. I think the message can be more clear here, you are mixing fixed pricing + usage based pricing + "free stuff" into one big pile. Its like saying: "Generate unlimited pdfs, only the first 500 are free, after that you pay us 0.005€ per request. And you have to pay us 45€ per month also". It can get cluttered - if i look at other platforms PDF generation platforms they are either x requests free + x €/request after or x €/month = 10.000 request x €/month = 20.000 request Just some constructive feedback you should take into consideration :)

This looks like a very useful microservice for document management. How does Cassiopeia handle complex document structures and formatting? Are there any limitations users should be aware of? Congrats on the launch, Benjamin!

@kyrylosilin Thank you very much :) There are no limits, I'm using it in another project to generate serial letters which footers, headers, images, tables, multiple pages. Not issues at all. Only limitation: You can't change the format within a variable. So for example, when you have a variable with a complete sentence, you can't make some words bold and some not. You would have to use multiple variables for that.

This is a good app, but your pricing model is complicated maybe try making it concise. Great launch by the way
