Hi folks — I’m a developer, and this came from a very normal relationship problem. I noticed that whenever it’s someone’s birthday, anniversary, or even New Year’s, most of us (me included) default to sending a one-line text. “Happy Birthday ❤️”, “Happy New Year 🎉”, etc. It technically does the job, but it often feels… empty. Especially in long-distance situations, where small gestures matter more than usual. So I ended up building a small web app where you can quickly create a simple, personalized digital card — nothing fancy, no signup walls, just text, a bit of layout, and a shareable link. It’s basically for those moments when you want to do slightly more than a text, but don’t want to overthink it. I’m still iterating on it and learning what people actually use vs ignore, so I’m curious: Do you feel messages have gotten too “low effort” lately? What actually feels meaningful to receive?
