Cardboard.js: The lo-fi of UI libraries -- build web apps without HTML, or JSX! This lightweight (around 16kb), performant library lets you manage state, components, and logic using just JavaScript/TypeScript. Ideal for projects where simplicity and speed are key.

👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Manolo (aka. Keff), the creator of Cardboard.js — a tiny UI library born out of frustration with the modern JavaScript ecosystem.
Let’s be real: building simple interfaces shouldn't require learning a new dialect of JavaScript, setting up a full build pipeline, or sacrificing your sanity to the framework gods. Cardboard.js is my attempt to bring things back to basics. No compilers. No “magic.” Just a lightweight reactive layer that works with the platform, not against it.
This is not a React/Vue/Whatever killer. It’s more like a gentle rebellion — for people who want to build UI without joining a cult.
If you’re tired of the hype and just want to build things, I’d love for you to try it out and share your feedback 🙌
Thanks for checking it out!
