I love learning languages. As I became more proficient in Russian and Spanish, reading great books like Master and Margarita or Don Quijote became obvious next steps. But literature presents a new hurdle to overcome. This can be great! New opportunities to dive deeper into the language, but the challenge can often impair the love of reading. I made Canonically to streamline the process of improving your command over a language by reading great books. You can look up words or constructions while reading, and then add flashcards to a deck to review by spaced repetition to make sure the concept sticks. Canonically doesn't replace tried and true methods for learning foreign languages: it's a tool for people who want to go deeper.
