Hi Builders!

My birthday was actually earlier this month, and I realized something: I was tired of the same old generic "HBD" texts. They felt like a chore. I wanted to create greetings that actually made my friends stop, laugh, and feel something.

That’s how Dear was born.

We are launching today with a single, featured experience: "Call from Future Me." It uses video gen AI to bring photos to life - all it takes is a selfie and a New Year's resolution to send wisdom (or jokes) from the future.

Why launch now? We're here to test a theory. We believe the digital greeting space has been stagnant for decades, and it's ripe for disruption. We want to see if this resonates with you (PMF!) before we build out the full suite.

The best part? For a very limited window (before we change our minds!), the experience is 100% free — no credit card needed.

So give it a try, let us know what you think, and please let us be one of the last app you upvote this year! 🚀

You've done quite well; this is perhaps a good application of AI currently. Hopefully, you'll create more for the past as well.
