CalcRegistry is a massive, high-performance directory of over 230+ utility tools across Finance, Photography, Health, Construction, and more. As a developer with 26 years of experience, I built this to replace the slow, ad-cluttered sites of the past. Using Astro and Vue 3, every tool loads instantly. Whether you’re calculating complex prime factorizations, engineering units, or photography exposures, the focus is on clean UI and "showing the work" so you understand the logic.

I’ve been a software developer for 27 years. Over that time, I’ve watched a lot of the “utility web” turn into a mess of slow load times and cluttered, outdated layouts. I eventually got tired of using those sites, so I decided to build a better version myself.
What started as a handful of finance calculators has grown into CalcRegistry: currently a collection of 236 tools, converters, and calculators all in one place. I’ve built out sections for just about everything:
Calculators: Finance, photography, construction, electronics, and math.
Converters: Engineering, heat, materials, and tech units.
Tools: Text and dev tools, design resources, and randomizers.
Everything runs directly in your browser. There’s no sign-up required, and your data isn't being sent off to a server somewhere. I used Astro + Vue 3 to keep the pages fast and lightweight, even as the library grows.
I'm adding new tools every week and would love to hear which categories you find most useful or what’s missing. I’ll eventually add some minimal ads to keep the site free to use, but the goal is to keep the interface clean and the tools accessible.
