I spend most of my day in front of the computer. I am currently at the computer and working with my legs stretched out. :) But I am using Windows. If you did this for your website, I would buy it at the first opportunity. I would be very interested if it gave a notification about a plug-in or my occasional sitting. (Web push notification) Ex: Hey Uğur, sit up straight. Ex: Hey Uğur, get off the chair and walk around the house for 3 minutes. Ex: Hey Uğur, stretch your legs. This way, it will be easy for you to spread to different platforms. It also works on mobile. If you go mobile, it can even go beyond working on a computer. It can be used anywhere. :)

@ugur2nd Thanks for your comment! I thought of developing Buddymove as a universal app (but mainly using electron) but finally decided to make it a native macOS app. Then it can be a lightweight, resource, and energy-saving solution, and I like the idea of mouse and keyboard usage monitoring, so all you need to do is open the app once and forget it (in terms of app management :) ). However, if the application turns out to be a success, I will gladly extend it to other platforms - windows/mobile. I wondered if microbreaks, as you mentioned, are not a good idea, but it is always hard to balance the functionality and possibility of focusing on work. I don't want the app to be too disruptive. Maybe I will add it as an option one day :)

There is a saying like this. "Think big, start small" I hope there will be enough demand. :)

@ugur2nd haha, true! Cheers!

In the past I have had health problems related to working at the computer. For a long time I've been looking for the perfect app that would allow me to deal with the situation and feel healthier at work. Since I didn't find one, I created it! I hope you will find this product helpful as well. All of the exercises in Buddymove were developed by a physiotherapist, working in cohesion with an international federation to ensure the highest clinical and academic standards are met for musculoskeletal health. Say hello to a better, livelier life! If you have any questions, I'm here to answer them.

Love this! I have an issue the app doesn't appear in Accessibility (Catalina / French Mac)
Szymon Kądzielawa
@josselinco Thank you for your comment! Have you tried to drag the jumping icon from the onboarding pane and drop it on the accessibility list (after unlocking the pad)?
Josselin Colletta
@szymon_kadzielawa Oh jeez sorry! I never saw this idea elsewhere, nice! I thought the dragging was there only to test the setting afterwards :)
Szymon Kądzielawa
@josselinco that's great you solved the issue :) Enjoy and don't forget to share your thoughts!

The animation looks awesome

@vivekweb2013 Cheers! It wasn't easy to present some exercises in 2D animation. Ultimately, most of them succeeded (I hope :)). And the exercises themselves are sharp, thanks to Lottie :)

As someone who has been doing Upward Dog poses to prevent WFH back problems, this is a very helpful app. Congratulations on your launch 🚀
