What do you think? …

Vedaant Chopra
The motivation to build this project came from a very personal experience. Back in college, my phone suddenly broke one day, and I didn’t even have enough money saved for a basic repair. I remember standing outside the service center, calculating and recalculating, hoping I had missed something—but the truth was simple: I had no emergency fund, no record of where my money was going, and no control over my spending. That moment really hit me. I felt frustrated, embarrassed, and honestly a bit scared. It made me realise how important it is to have even a basic understanding of your finances, especially as a student or young adult. That experience became the seed for this project. The main problem I wanted to solve was the lack of a simple, friendly, and relatable way to manage money. Most finance apps felt too complex, too formal, or too confusing. I wanted something that felt like a companion—something that helps you track your expenses, build small habits, and stay prepared for emergencies without making you feel overwhelmed. As I started building the project, my process naturally evolved. In the beginning, it was all about solving my own problem: tracking daily expenses, understanding patterns, and creating a simple budget system. But as I discussed it with friends, I realised everyone had similar struggles—overspending, zero savings, impulse purchases, and no idea where their money disappears. So I refined the features, added rewards to make the experience fun, and focused on clean design so anyone could use it comfortably. Over time, the project grew from a small personal tool into something that could genuinely help others. The journey taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of creating something that solves a real problem. And that one broken phone became the reason I built something meaningful.
