Hi Producthunt! I'm a maker and digital nomad and I built Blogsend. I built it because I like to write but I don't like to mess around with integrating stuff into my blog, but many people contacted me and were asking me about having my posts find their inbox ๐Ÿ˜‰ I worked very hard to make the interface as streamlined for blogs as possible and to make it easy for everyone. The concept is that it watches your RSS feed, and when you post something new, it automatically sends a nice teaser to all your subscribers, helping you drive traffic for every post. I'd love to hear any feedback or ideas you might have! ๐Ÿ™
@mtimofiiv Great to see it posted! I remember a few weeks back when you explained this product to me. It's awesome that you have finished it and it looks very good. I like the about of work a blog maintainer has to do. Normally it's having an email list, making emails, not forgetting to email after you posted you blog. It's nice that Blogsend just uses your RSS feed and figures the rest it out by itself. Congrats on the launch!
@harianus Thanks! It's been really fun getting it out there.
Hi @mtimofiiv , Sorry to be this person.....how does this differ from using something like MailChimp to send posts based on your RSS feed? Suggestions for your home page: 1. Your headline is very far now the page. Almost felt like another image/video did not load 2. Instead of paper airplanes, some screenshots/video/etc might help tell a better story about what your product does
Hi @scottw, don't be sorry, this is what we're all here for, feedback ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for the homepage suggestions, you do indeed have fair points! Mailchimp does indeed also have the feature where you can use your RSS feed to send out emails. But MC, while great, is a complex tool. If all you want is to operate a blog, perhaps you don't want to hassle too much with the various parts of it. Whereas Blogsend is super-targeted to the niche of blogs, and nothing else.
Does this integrate with Webflow?
Hi @jd_yaguara, at present I have not looked into it yet! But if Webflow has an RSS feed and allow you to drop an iframe on your page, then it will work.
Great job!! ๐Ÿ˜Š Will check it out!!
