Over the past weeks, I've been building a web to help find and rate the bjj gyms. The Problem: When traveling, I often struggle to locate gyms that are drop-in friendly and do nogi (don't want to bring the whole gi on the road). I've used Google Maps int past, and looking at each individual gym websites to know what they offer, but it's a pain in the ass and in the reviews there isn't much details either. The Solution: Create a website that allows people to search and rate gyms based on multiple tags. So far, I've implemented an straightforward search feature that filters by major cities (New York, Austin, Madrid...), which you can check out at bjjgym.com. Currently, the following criteria are being considered: - Drop-in options (and associated fees?) - Nogi or gi classes - Friendly environment - Cleanliness (to avoid places where there may be staph, ringworm) - Gym's skill level - Open mat sessions - Women's classes And some more that you can see on the web Would love to hear some feedback and know what do you think about it.

Congrats on the launch, @bsampera! I've been looking for something like this for a while. Just curious, will there be options to filter gyms by specific coaches or instructors in the future? That'd be super helpful for finding the right place to train when traveling. Thanks.

@jonathanedwardbrooks Hi Jonathan, that sounds like a promising feature. Good on point on the option to filter by instructors, I'll find a way to implement it. Thanks for the Support!

This sounds awesome! The search feature is super helpful, especially when traveling. Always a struggle finding good BJJ gyms on the go. Checked out the site, and it's really clean and easy to use. Definitely gonna keep this bookmarked for my next trip. Thanks for putting this together!
