Hey there PH community πŸ‘‹ Today, Bitski is announcing our new Bitski iOS Wallet and Browser Extension Wallet, another step in our commitment to providing a secure and easy-to-use wallet. With our new Bitski iOS and Browser Extension Wallet, we've re-envisioned the standards for what a web3 wallet can be, putting non-crypto and experienced crypto users at the center of the design process. The result is a wallet that is secure, accessible, and intuitive across mobile and desktop, even for new web3 users. Bitski was founded in 2018 and from the beginning, have been building web3 products. We initially started with a marketplace and did a number of custom NFT drops with partners such as Adidas, RTFKT, Jeff Staple, Levis and many others. We realized shortly that there was a huge gap in the market for a user friendly NFT and crypto wallet. This is the moment we knew we could fill that need. So we transitioned our business at the beginning of 2022 to create the best NFT wallet meant for mass adoption. Say goodbye to confusing seed phrases and wallets with no security, and say hello to a game-changing new way to manage your digital assets. The Bitski Wallet is compatible with two of the world’s leading blockchains, Ethereum and Polygon, allowing users to easily switch between leading decentralized applications (dApps) and NFT marketplaces like OpenSea, Magic Eden, Blur, Zora, Manifold, and more. On top of that here are some key features we think you’ll love: πŸ”’ Bitski Vault – Digital goods, physically safe. The Bitski Vault is ultra-secure and backed via hardware-security modules so that users can safely secure their assets. πŸš€ Self-custody wallet import – meaning you can bring your own keys to use inside of the Bitski Wallet and manage your digital assets easily. πŸ‘€ Simulate and preview transactions for extra security – have no fear while you sign; Bitski will simulate transactions to let you know what is happening before you press confirm. πŸ” View on-chain transactions and history with the Bitski Activity Feed – a user friendly version of how wallet transaction history should be for the common user. πŸ”” Floor price alerts for any NFT collection – set customized floor price alerts for your favorite NFT collection so you’ll never miss if the price changes. 🌐 Connect to dApps via our new dApp Browser – trade NFTs, swap token holdings, or stake your holdings right from your iOS wallet. πŸ“’ Blockchain activity push notifications – we’ll send you a push notification if your balance changes, an NFT sells, or an NFT floor price changes. ⚑️ Easily view all your NFTs and tokens in your wallet – No need to manually upload contract addresses; Bitski always shows all your NFTs and tokens. Kudos to an amazing team that has poured their blood, sweat and tears into a product worth sharing. This is just the beginning to be sure to follow us on PH and Twitter for more product updates! Thanks for reading and let us know what you think of the Bitski iOS Wallet and Browser Extension Wallet down below! πŸ‘‡

@bitski absolutely great news, we need to onboard people in a simple way.

@the_hawk We couldn't agree more!

Congrats on the launch, @donnie! The threat detection feels like the most important feature. I've avoided minting NFTs and signing contracts as often as I would have normally because of the risks. Can you share more about how it works? There's no way to ensure there's 100% no vulnerability but how accurate or how much coverage do you expect?
Andrew Schneider
Hey @rrhoover, I helped build this feature. Hopefully this adds some clarity: We simulate all transactions on Ethereum and Polygon before you are shown a signing screen prompting you to authorize the transaction. This does two main things. First, by simulating the transaction we know what state will be changing on the blockchain if you execute the transaction (e.g. you send 1 ETH, you receive an NFT). Since we know this information, we can show it to you before you sign. Malicious smart contracts can try to obfuscate what the function is actually doing, but simulation generally uncovers its true behavior. This alone offers a great piece of mind in my opinion, since you can see what you will be doing before actually doing it. And even for non-malicious contracts it's a nice feature since you can see what your wallet balance will be at the end of a transaction. Second, this information allows external systems to be integrated. Think machine-learning models, fraud detection logic, known verified data, etc. that we can use to detect malicious actors. If anything is detected we will show a warning, with varying levels of severity. This also allows the detection system to evolve and improve over time as new scams pop up. Simulations aren't 100% perfect to be sure, but as of now we expect a vast majority of transactions to be covered. Sometimes proxy contracts can throw it off a bit but thats the only thing I've seen. And credit needs to be given to Blowfish.xyz for their simulation platform here. We primarily use their API for this and its fast and reliable! We sprinkle a little of our own detection on top but they do the heavy lifting. Also, I didn't even go into off-chain signatures (eth_sign and eth_signtyped_data), but we cover those too.

@andschneider thanks for sharing details. Very interesting approach.

What's up PH! I run marketing at Bitski and am so grateful to all of our early beta users who have gotten us to this day. Let us know in the comments if you have any questions, or feel free to reach out to us on most platforms @bitski . Big fan of the simulated transaction signing screens, which basically checks a contract before you sign to see if it's sketchy or not.
Sujay
Hello Bitskits, been an early adopter & a happy user of Bitski for several months now. The rate at which the platform has evolved & improved is nothing short of phenomenal. As I have mentioned in the past, I personally think Metamask is not a competitor of Bitski, one can import multiple wallets in Bitski, meaning they can coexist. I personally think with all the other features Bitski offers such as the dashboard, trending collections & so on, the true competition in the long run would be products such as Twitter & Reddit as they work on their web3 wing. I have seen the team & product since the beginning. I have absolutely conviction in the team. I am very confident that this product has a strong future & I am here to experience every step of the journey. Feel free to ping me with whatever questions you have on Twitter or discord & I’ll be happy to assist. Let’s build ❀️

Let's go Bitski! Stoked on this user-focused wallet the team has been building. Making my life using NFTs and web3 stuff a whole lot easier and fun than other offerings in the space.
Zack Brenner
Congrats Bitski!
Donnie Dinch
@zackbrenner Thanks Zach!
Leandro Santos de Oliveira (Lekis)
Using bitski has greatly simplified my life on the web3 in recent months, all transaction notifications and price and news alerts make me feel much more relaxed and I confess that I have already taken advantage of many opportunities through these notifications, before looking for news today with bitski they come to me. Not to mention I can still monitor many other wallets! And now with the browser extension it's even better I can see all my nfts and contracts much faster, I'm loving everything you've been building and honestly it's impossible not to use it with all these advantages.
Donnie Dinch
@lekistv Thank you for the comment Lekis! We're so happy to see this kind of feedback on our latest improvements to the wallet. This is just the beginning πŸ’ͺ
