I'm Ian, the maker of Bindexr.
I built this tool because I had a problem: I was selling items online (eBay/Mercari), but my inventory was a mess. I would sell an item, then spend 45 minutes digging through unlabeled "death piles" in my garage trying to find it. I knew I had it, I just didn't know which bin it was in.
Spreadsheets were too slow and didn't have pictures. Expensive enterprise software was... well, too expensive.
So I built Bindexr.
How it works:
Catalog: Add items to a bin in the app and snap a photo.
Label: Print a QR code sticker for the bin.
Find: When you need an item, search for it. Bindexr tells you "It's in Bin #42 on the Garage Shelf."
