This was my favorite new book in 2015. Gilbert penned a gem with her ode to creativity. As a writer and entrepreneur, I found it as inspiring and entertaining as The War of Art (Steven Pressfield) and On Writing (Stephen King).

This book couldn't have come at a more perfect time for me - I'm in the process of writing a book for the sake of sharing something I'm passionate about independent of my "day job". Elizabeth's advice on keeping your creative projects separate from what makes you money was exactly what I needed to hear, since the first inclination is of course "how can I monetize this?" I've never highlighted so many passages in a book as I did in this one, and I can't wait to go back and re-read it soon (which I NEVER do.)
