What Bathtimer does differently from most shower apps is that it sets alarms for each of the steps of your shower. So when it's time to shampoo or rinse or wash your face, the alarm rings. The goal is to pace your shower and to help you stick to your routine.
Hey ProductHunt peeps!
For the longest time, I've been taking long showers. A few months ago, I wanted to make a change shorten my shower time from 30 minutes down to 5. Setting a simple timer didn't work for me since I would set it, daydream in the shower, hear it ring, think "shoot!" and then keep standing there without restraint (no more timer to worry about!).
A better approach would be to have the timer ring for each step of my shower. I searched the app store and couldn't find such an app, so I put my dev skills to good use and made one for myself.
I've been using it for the past couple weeks and it's helped me a lot, and I just wanted for anyone else who had a similar goal to benefit from it, too.
I've had a lot of fun building this! If you have any criticisms of the app, I would love to hear them so I can improve it.
@daniel_n_ I was thinking of adding a feature to skip to the next immediate step. Idk about all the way to the end, but you could get to the end that way.
