Axie Infinity is a digital pet community, founded upon the vision of delivering true gameplay and utility to the decentralized gaming space. As early players of blockchain games such as CryptoKitties, we saw the potential of putting game assets on the blockchain but were unsatisfied with the "fun" that early blockchain games brought to the table. In the Axie universe, players can battle, raise, collect, and breed fantasy creatures called Axies. Each Axie has unique genetic data stored on the Ethereum blockchain. There are hundreds of body parts, each with their own battle moves so the combinations for creating unique little battlers are infinite! This summer, we held an extensive beta test for our battle system where hundreds of testers racked up more than 20,000 battles. We even held our first tournament, The Kotaro Invitational, where 16 of our top players battled it out for ETH and tokenized trophies. Now we're launching our battle system on Ethereum Mainnet. Help us spread the word and let's show the world that the Blockchain is about so much more than ICOs and money transfers!

The game is still under development, and there are many new features to wait for. It promises to become a grand entertainment for the whole family. (edited after few month) It also fulfills its promises in a most satisfying way.

Pros:

Cute art, enticing game,true fun! Awesome community, great support. Constantly evolving gameplay, bright prospects, addictive in good sense.

Cons:

The more I play the less flaws I see. So, ethereum barrier, maybe, but I don't see it as flaw. At contrary, it brings people to blockchain.

This the only the blockchain game right now that can goes the same level as the other mainstream centralized game. Battle mechanice, strategies and animation are totally unique and one of a kind.

Pros:

Cute Creatures, Streamable Game, Fun to watch battle, Unique Game Play, Tamagochi style terrarium, cant ask for more from a game.

Cons:

entry barrier for non-crypto audience. But once you pass that barrier, you wont stop loving this game.

overall a high quality strategy based game that has the type of fun factor comparable to traditional centralized A games i play.

might not be attractive to free-to-play players

I know people using this game to work. So they make money while having fun. I still cant believe it. This is AMAZING!
