Internet of Agents

The current internet was designed for humans, pages, links, search engines, SEO. But autonomous agents interact differently: they operate through intentions, capabilities, structured metadata, and machine-to-machine negotiation. As agents become a core interface for software and services, we need infrastructure that reflects this shift, an “internet of agents”, where discovery, trust, and capability matching are built for machine-native communication. Automata is a step toward that direction.

Thanks for checking out Automata! This project is still in its early stages, and there’s a lot of work ahead. The goal isn’t to present a “complete solution”, but to take a first step toward something we believe will become essential: automatic, intent-based discovery between agents. There are still open challenges, taxonomy, ranking signals, federated registries, security models, capability negotiation, and standardization. But the only way to move this forward is through experimentation and collaboration. Everything is open-source, and contributions are welcome: ideas discussions issues improvements new ranking strategies security reviews example agents SDK feedback If you want to help shape what an “internet of agents” could look like, the GitHub repo is here: https://github.com/MendesCorpora... Happy to hear thoughts, critiques, or ideas from the community!
