Hi all, I created austechjobs in response to my frustrations with recruiters and established job sites when hiring developers. During launch posting a job is free - I hope there are some fellow Aussies out there that find it useful!

I like the idea of having a space away from recruiters for smaller local roles. It's mostly about trust, and this is shaping up to be a nice little community of it's own.

Pros:

Good connections into local communities and development slack groups. Devs trust my post more and I'm getting better quality candidates.

Cons:

Doesn't have a huge amount of features, but that's startups for you.

The words "recruiter free" had me hooked.

Pros:

This is nicely put together. I would definitely look at it next time I'm after a contract.
