Hey PH gang 👋 I’m Sam, founder of August. I started August to make renting easier for landlords like my mum. She managed everything with spreadsheets, emails, and gut instinct and honestly, it worked... until it didn’t. Things got messy, expensive, and stressful. And the software out there? Built for letting agents and big corporates, with price tags to match. That didn’t sit right with me. Landlords play a huge role in providing safe homes and keeping the rental market moving, but they’re too often overlooked or unfairly lumped in with the bad ones. At August, we want to flip the script. That’s why one of the features we’ve added is Landlord Scores, earned by doing the right things in the platform, with tenant scores on the way soon. We’re building August in time to handle everything from expenses and compliance to rent collection, insurance, tenant communication and more all in one simple, affordable platform. A simple, affordable platform built to save you time, money, and headaches. We’re a small UK team of 12, and since our beta launch in December we’ve been shipping fast, with new features dropping every month.
