Hey Product Hunt folks! I am excited (and a little nervous!) to finally share Audarly with you all 😬 I came up with the idea of Audarly when I had to make a lot of calls to foreigners while doing IT market research. Everyone's pronunciation was different, so I had to waste a lot of time clarifying words. Other solutions were aimed at integration with instant messengers and conferencing tools. I wanted to create something simpler that can be launched at any time and used at once. After months of our pet-project development, we are ready to invite people for closed testing of its working version. We are ready to receive feedback and improve the application. We are also planning to include some useful features; however, it's still too early to talk about them now. :) 🧐 Problems: * People's accents are very different; * It is impossible to keep everything in your memory. It's good practice to write things down, but it's impossible to write everything down and hold a conversation at the same time; * Without records, it is impossible to revise or reproduce information; * You can record a video, but reviewing it takes longer than reading the text; * Integration with existing conferencing tools takes time; * Different people may use different means of communication; 🎉 Solution: One application that is installed on a computer and can record and create transcriptions from anywhere (conference calls, youtube, ...), as it works with audio outputs directly. It's been almost a month since we posted information about our app, and I'm happy to share the news: 1) We’ve received your questions and feedback on the application. 2) We’ve created a build for MacOS, and now those who wish can test it. 3) We have added the ability to edit transcriptions in real time when recording.
