Hey ProductHunter's. Today is launch day and after several weeks now i am ready to post our first startup in PH. I hope you like what we done in Askmee and i am waiting for your feedback. So what is Askmee? A website and community for AMA fans. You can host your AMA in 30s, you can view other AMA and vote the best. And if you host an AMA you are able to vote for the best question ever. ๐Ÿ‘ Why we created Askmee? Because we think that 2015 is the year of AMA. It's more mature now, the users are familiar with this kind of communication also celebrities, politicians, high profile people seize the opportunity to contact their audience. And from the other side the users are starving for fresh AMAs and want new and real ways to contact celebrities, professionals, persons who are interesting. I think AMA is an interesting turn in social networks and we are gonna see a lot in the future. So, finally, is it time for AMAzing people to create AMAzing discussions!. If you are a celebrity ;-), a startup founder, a geek, a singer, an artist, a wood carpenter, this is your place to host your AMA! And don't forget. Whoever you are. Be AMAzing! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿ‘ฑ๐Ÿ‘ฒ๐Ÿ‘ณ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ท๐Ÿ‘ธ๐ŸŽ…

@dontpanic_cg Very interesting! Do you think there'd be a chicken and egg problem here -- the value for the celebrity arising from the exposure to new audience, and such audience would come only if a celeb gives an AMA? reddit, for example, has an enormous user base to start with. How do you plan to differentiate? reddit also released their official AMA app.

@manasvinik +1 to this. AMAs don't depend on specialized tools nearly as much as they depend on an existing audience. I'm curious to know what sequence of events the creators of this app think will get them a critical mass of users.

@manasvinik . Thanks for your feedback. Yes Reddit is a big player. Sure it is. But i don't think that because there is a big company out there we shouldn't try and do something different or better or simpler. Askmee is better because is not Reddit ;-) And because is not Reddit we cant be compared so much :-) We don't want to be this huge maze of mix content. We are a simpler version of iAMA and we are here because lots of people don't host AMA on Reddit. They really don't. I see people choosing other services like Hangouts, Slack, Chat, Twitter, Youtube. All kind of services, forums, chat rooms to host AMA. And they do great. But they choose an enviroment that is not AMA-friendly, or AMA-specific. These people can use Askmee because they will find other AMAs to read-ask, members to share experiences and ask for advice and a hopefully large user base to get them started. Also they will have all the "tools" they need to create a great AMA, like voting, image upload, commenting, follow AMA and they can also choose and reward users who post the best question. Final as for the celebrities and the critical mass, they will come, they always come to any service that respect their personalities. Since we are solving their AMA hosting problem the followers and fans will follow every where they go.!

@josephrooks I haven't thought about the sequence but it will be a mix of emails, twitter, growthhack in any sequence :-) We are trying our best. And we are trying to achieve steady, step by step growth.
