Hey all! I’m Anton, founder of aSaaSin 👋🏻
I built this so my SaaS ideas don’t die in setup. I wanted a starter that turns the first impulse into a real MVP fast - clean design plus the right tools, not more boilerplate.
What aSaaSin is:
🔸 A production‑ready SaaS starter built on Next.js, Supabase, TinaCMS, and Polar - with auth, data, and subscriptions wired from the start.
🔸 Visual editing with a Git‑backed CMS (MDX), so copy, sections, and docs change in minutes, right in the repo.
🔸 Fast theming: Tailwind + shadcn/ui and an AI branding preview to try colors/fonts live. 🎨⚡
🔸 No heavy infra: launch on generous free tiers (Vercel, Supabase, Git) and iterate. 🚀
Who it’s for:
🔸 Indie makers, small teams, and agencies who want to ship, learn, and iterate without rebuilding the same boilerplate.
Goal:
🔸 Keep momentum from first spark to something real to show-quickly. Would love feedback on what’s still slow or confusing for day‑one validation. I’ll be here all day. 🙌

I really love the idea of an AI branding preview; it’s usually the tedious stuff that slows me down.

@anisa_jamal Yes, it's the feature I'm most proud of ☺️

Love the 'ideas don't die in setup' tagline - so relatable! 😅 The AI branding preview caught my eye. How customizable are the color schemes? Been looking for something exactly like this to speed up our MVP process.

@atypicalbear Thanks! The AI branding preview lets you test different color palettes and fonts instantly - no code changes needed. You can cycle through multiple schemes and see how they look across all components in real-time. Perfect for that 'does this feel right?' moment when you're building an MVP. The goal was to remove that design bottleneck that usually slows down early validation. Glad it caught your eye!

This looks super clean! As a developer, I hate rebuilding auth and billing for every project. The Supabase + Polar combo makes total sense. Quick question - does it handle user roles out of the box? Bookmarking this for my next side project 🔥

@vincent51 Great question! User roles aren't built in yet, but seeing the interest here makes me want to prioritize it! I actually have a roadmap with feature voting at https://www.asaasin.dev/roadmap - would love to get your vote on what matters most to you. Thanks for the feedback!

I can’t even count how many times I’ve hit a wall trying to set up authentication and payments… this is definitely going to save me weeks of work.
I’m curious though, how difficult would it be to swap out Polar for Stripe if I needed to?

@amelia_brooks3 Totally doable - billing is abstracted behind a service layer, so providers are swappable. Polar is the default today. If Stripe as the default helps, happy to prioritize it - please vote on the roadmap: https://www.asaasin.dev/roadmap

Loved aSaaSin, this is a product worth checking out. It saves days of work for me as an engineer and handles the basic infrastructure every product should have. Highly recommended.
