Hey all - I'm Yan, founder of Arktide. After looking forward to this moment for about 2 years I'm excited to finally share this on Product Hunt! šŸŽ¶ Arktide was born out of frustrations I experienced first hand when working on music with other people. I was tired of having to write out timestamps, attempting to manage files using a combination of SoundCloud and Google Drive, and sending out demos using Dropbox - so naturally, I decided to dedicate 2 and a half years of my life outside of a 9-5 to building a product that I wished existed. I know this probably goes against the whole "ship fast" indie hacker mantra, but delivering a polished experience was crucial for me. Some of the core features include: šŸ¤ Collaboration from the ground up Arktide is designed specifically around the concept of teams - bands, audio engineers who work with multiple clients, and labels and studios. Your work is private by default, and is only shared with your team. šŸ“‚ Asset management and file organisation Upload stems, mixes, and projects files and VST presets to keep your work focused and organized. Leave feedback directly on audio waveforms, so that you don't have to write out timestamps by hand to send to your collaborators. šŸ“… Built-in calendar Keep track of recording sessions, rehearsals and gigs from a built in team calendar. ✨ Branded previews If you're an audio engineer who needs to share previews with your clients, or an artists who's trying to get your music heard by A&R reps - branded previews allow you to showcase your work in a professional manner, complete with bios and social links. Would love to hear your thoughts, and thank you for checking this out!
