ArezGit is engineered for speed and low memory usage. Built on Tauri (Rust), it handles large repositories without the bloat. Features include a custom canvas-based commit graph for smooth scrolling, a built-in 3-way conflict resolver with Monaco Editor, and native image diffing. Includes optional AI (BYOK) helpers for commit messages.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm a developer from Brazil. I wanted to use a Git GUI that was fast, secure, and had a good UI with the features I used the most. without the subscription model. I didn't need infinite features packed on my screen; I just wanted the core done well, so I built ArezGit. I chose Tauri and Rust for the backend to ensure fast startup times and a minimal memory footprint compared to traditional Electron apps. Key Features designed for developers: - Performance: Custom caching layer (using moka in Rust) allows for very fast history loading. - Visual Graph: I implemented a custom Canvas-based graph (via Konva) so you can scroll through thousands of commits. - Conflict Resolution: No need for external tools; it includes a built-in 3-way merge editor. - Image Diffs: View changes in binary files side-by-side natively. - AI Assistance: Optional AI assistant (BYOK) for when you need help drafting commit messages. I'd love to hear your feedback on the speed and the conflict resolution workflow!
