ArchiveShelf

Organize your life, not your data. Simple home inventory.

ArchiveShelf is an app for users who want to manage their personal inventory on their iPhones. Every app I found was either a giant spreadsheet disguised as a mobile app or required a monthly subscription just to keep a simple list. I wanted something that felt more modern. What makes ArchiveShelf different? No Subscriptions: I hate "renting" my utility apps. It’s free to use, with a simple one-time unlock. I’m excited to hear your feedback!

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the developer behind ArchiveShelf. The idea for this app came from a personal frustration: I have dozens of storage bins in my garage and attic, but I’d constantly find myself opening five different boxes just to find one specific hobby tool or spare cable. Most inventory apps I tried were either way too complex (like a corporate warehouse database) or required a monthly subscription just to keep a simple list. I built ArchiveShelf to be the "antidote" to that. I wanted a tool that was: Privacy-First: Your home data is sensitive. ArchiveShelf is built with SwiftUI and SwiftData, keeping everything 100% on your device. No accounts, no servers, no tracking. Subscription-Free: I believe utility apps should be owned, not rented. It’s free to use, with a one-time "Pro" unlock for those who want to support an indie dev. Whether you’re moving, decluttering, or just trying to organize your gear, I hope ArchiveShelf makes your life a little easier. I’ll be here all day to answer questions and take feature requests. I’d love to know: How do you currently keep track of your stuff?
