@seth_lehman Amper is currently free to use for the public, and so as a free product the freedom of use is limited. For our paying customers, all music created receives a global, royalty-free, and perpetual use license, agnostic of commercial or non-commercial use. No intent of a copyright trap in any way.

@drew_silverstein please disclose in the t&cs or at least a non-gated website. Thanks.
From the video with @drew_silverstein: "The future of music will be created through the collaboration between humans and AI"
Fascinating. I've been eager to see how creative technologists expand what's possible in music. cc @arlanwashere@yungskeeter
Really interesting, thanks for sharing @drew_silverstein. Are you aware of Jukedeck? How are you different?

Looks like a copyright trap. Can't use the music for commercial purposes. A fix would be to disclose in non-gated website and mention a license / payment is required for commercial use.
Pros:
Don't know since I won't agree to the terms.
Cons:
Looks like a copyright trap. Can't use the music for commercial purposes.

While I am biased since my company was in the same Techstars cohort --- it is crystal clear to me that Ampere will have a rapid, massive and successful impact on music creation and production.
Watch Ampere, Drew and the rest of his mad melody makers crush this space.
Hi @drew_silverstein 👋 tell us a little about how your built Amper? What was your inspiration?
