Amala Joint was founded based on the founder's problem. When he first came to Istanbul as an Erasmus student, he one day thought about eating Nigerian food as conveniently as possible, without needing to navigate the complexities of Istanbul's transport system. He wanted it delivered to him. However, when he googled, he noticed that many restaurants are hidden in corners of Istanbul with no promise to deliver to you. Then, he thought that many people like him in Istanbul must also be struggling to order Nigerian food as conveniently as possible. So, he decided to create Amala Joint, a ghost kitchen that delivers or packages Nigerian food for pickup. No dine-in.
