Reminds me of the phantom keyboard in "Rainbows End"! Many years back there were these laser keyboards that would project an image of keys on a surface that you'd type with. Heard the lack of mechanical feedback made them a challenge to use.

I get that they're reaching for the Minority Report-esque solution but I can't ever see these things selling to a market past early adopters and/or people who hate keyboards with extreme fury. The latter market being far smaller than the former.
