Great looking product... since we can't ask questions on IndieGogo - is the body that is transparent plastic or glass?

Well, the transparent material is made by PET. The PET material imported from Germany.
Other information for your reference:
1. PET - Polyethylene terephthalate (sometimes written poly(ethylene terephthalate)), commonly abbreviated PET, PETE, or the obsolete PETP or PET-P, is the most common thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family and is used in fibers for clothing, containers for liquids and foods, thermoforming for manufacturing, and in combination with glass fiber for engineering resins.
PET is eco-friendly material, and sometime can be used for foods.
2. Advantage of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate)
a. Have good mechanical properties, impact strength is 3 to 5 times then other films, and have good folding resistance.
b. Oil resistant, resistant to fat, resistant to acid, dilute alkali, resistant to most solvents.
c. Has excellent high resistance, low temperature performance, can be used in the temperature range of 120 ℃ long-term use, short-term use can withstand 150 ℃ high temperature, resistant to -70 ℃ low temperature; And more, the high and low temperature have little impact on its mechanical properties.
d. Gas and water vapor permeability is low, good excellent resistance performance for gas, water, oil and odor.
e. High transparency, can block ultraviolet, good gloss.
f. Non-toxic, tasteless, health and safety, and can be directly used for food packaging.

Hi there, I appreciate the explanation and I know of the advantages of PET, but I'll still hold out for someone who makes an elegant product in this category out of Glass and not PET/other plastics/resins etc...

But I personally still think the item Aickar ELF also looks very beautiful and elegant.

@aickardiffuser I am definitely 'not' arguing one way or the other on the fact that ELF looks or doesn't look elegant I think it DOES, but I no longer buy anything in Plastic/PET/etc [yes that sounds a bit crazy by today's standards but I really try to stick by that] and prefer products made of metal, solid wood, glass, etc etc
So for me, I will have to sadly wait until someone makes something as beautiful, elegant, transparent as this buy out of glass...
