Hey everyone,
I wanted to let you all know about an app I created called Afham. I made the app originally for my parents who had trouble translating stuff into the dialects they speak since most translation services just translate into standard Arabic which we all know how annoying that can be at times especially for those that speak certain dialects. My app translates into 8 dialects and english; Modern Standard Arabic, Sudanese Arabic, Egyptian Arabic, Levantine Arabic, Gulf Arabic, Moroccan Arabic, Iraqi Arabic, and Yemeni Arabic. The app also is useful to those learning Arabic and its vast amount of dialects as it contains a phrasebook with over 60+ phrases in every one of those dialects with audio support to help with pronunciations. I know this is going to be a huge negative, but the app does have a subscription. I had no other choice but to add a subscription as the cost to run the app is not small, but none the less I tried to make it as affordable as possible by making the pricing low and giving you unlimited access to the phrasebook for free.
Thank you. And I would be happy if you tried it out.
