Abandoned Assets

Hey 👋 Two days ago I saw an interesting discussion on Twitter [1] about alternative ways to uncover websites for sale. The idea is that just like in the physical world there are plenty of neglected properties online. Many sites of course get listed on the usual marketplaces but at least just as many never end up there. Sites not listed have the advantage that you don't have to participate in an auction and hidden gems can be found. So I had the idea that I can help people find these gems by automating the process I just learned about. The project is very much an MVP at this point but if there's sufficient interest I have many ideas to develop it further by adding different asset classes and additional signals that indicate a site has been abandoned. Super interesting idea, @jakob_greenfeld. As far as I know there's no marketplace like this out there... and yet it seems so beneficial for everyone!
