I made something similar to this as a really basic notepad but as a chrome extension to replace the "New Tab" page: https://chrome.google.com/websto... Mine was just put together quickly though, I would love for this one to be available as a replacement to the new tab page as well (I find it is the most convenient place to store notes when browsing).

@LHINTL nice. sometimes when I deperately need to take a note quickly. I new tab & type it into the google search bar. This is a much better idea 😜
@LHINTL @mscccc I love the simplicity behind this. We also made an app that allows you to take notes in your browser without switching tabs: https://chrome.google.com/websto...

Am I missing something? How is this different to typehere.co? http://www.producthunt.com/posts...

Just open up a browser tab and start writing. Return later and you text will still be there. It uses your browser cache so you don't need an account. Love this product and I've been using it for ages. So simple and elegant.
