For too long, our notes apps have been digital junk drawers—a chaotic mix of half-finished thoughts, lost links, and forgotten folders. You’re stuck between two extremes: • Apple Notes: simple, but everything disappears into a sea of text • Notion: powerful, but too complex—half your time goes into building systems, not using them. Mina finds the balance. It’s built around one principle: write/save freely, organize nothing, and let AI handle the rest. I'm thrilled to invite you to the TestFlight for Mina, an iOS app designed to turn that chaos into an intelligent knowledge base. Here’s what makes Mina different: 🧠 An AI That Understands You The AI goes beyond simple keyword search; it understands context and can synthesize insights from your own notes. Find Anything, Instantly: Ever save a link from TikTok, Instagram, or a random website and lose it forever? Now you can just ask, "Find that article about a potential recession I wanted to read," and the AI will pinpoint your note with it in a sea of links. Discover Trends in Your Own Thinking: Ask questions like, "Based on my notes this month, what topics am I most interested in? Recommend a classic book for each so I can learn more." It turns your notes into a personalized insight engine. 🗂️ Deliberately Folderless Because the AI search is so powerful, I’ve eliminated the chore of creating and managing folders. Your brain doesn't think in rigid folders, and now your notes app doesn't have to. Just save and go—the AI handles the organization for you. ✍️ In-Note AI Assistant The AI isn't just for searching. Inside any note, you can ask it to review a draft, brainstorm ideas based on your title, or generate a recipe—and insert the text directly into your note. 🔒 Anonymous by Design Privacy isn't an afterthought; it's the foundation. No account needed. Ever. When you first launch the app, a random, anonymous ID (uuidv4) is generated and stored only on your device. This is used to sync your notes and cannot be linked back to your identity.
