As a developer, I lost count of how many times I asked an AI tool for help and got stuck with sloppy code that took hours to debug because my prompts weren't clear enough. I built Promptr because I wanted a tool that lives right inside VS Code, a tool that can turn rough prompts into powerful, actionable prompts, that models can use to write the best possible code. Promptr lets you select any text or code, hit ⌘⇧G, and instantly refine, explain, or refactor it with AI—without leaving your editor and without ever sending your code to a third party.
