Google Translate sucks at translation tasks, it misses typos, nuances, tones, dialects, and cultural context. On the other hand, LLMs are great at translation tasks and produce human-like results, however they are really slow compared to Google Translate. So we decided to fix that and built Sirius 1: A state-of-the-art LLM for translation tasks that will run tens of times faster than current LLMs. Sirius 1 is not designed to write code or poetry, but for translation it achieves near Claude 4 Sonnet's performance at 1/150 of the cost and will be tens of times faster.
