I built TheBrainDump because I was tired of forcing structure every time I had a thought. Tools like Notion and Asana are great, but they all start with a question: “What kind of thing is this?” — task, note, reminder, calendar, project?
I just wanted to dump what was in my head and have something figure it out for me.
🧠 TheBrainDump lets you offload raw thoughts, and uses an LLM (like LLaMA 3) to auto-classify them — as tasks, reminders, events, ideas, or just notes. Then it shows you a simple, daily dashboard of what actually matters today, including overdue tasks you forgot about.
No folders. No tags. No friction.

Major updates to the app include better experience on mobile and tagging for organizing thoughts.
Use it to understand it! I have been using it heavily and then improving the experience based on my own usage. Never enjoyed building an app so much before!
