Hello, Product Hunt community! 👋
I’m the solo creator of PageTalk, and I’m incredibly excited to share it with you all today.
To be honest, I started this journey three months ago as a “vibe coder” — driven by passion, with a completely zero-to-one approach. I saw a gap: not everyone could access the convenience of AI in their browser, and I wanted to change that. My goal was simple: build a tool for everyone’s convenience.
PageTalk is my answer. It’s designed to make reading and understanding websites and documents no longer a chore. Whenever you face a complex topic online, you can just ask PageTalk.
I’m especially proud of a few features:
Multi-Tab Chat: Just type @ to pull context from all your open tabs into a single conversation. It’s a game-changer for research and comparing information.
Selection Tool: This is my favorite. Highlight any text on any page to instantly interpret, translate, or start a chat about it. It feels like magic.
Quick Actions: Customize your own prompts for the selection tool to create powerful, personal workflows.
Most importantly, PageTalk is 100% free, forever, and fully open-source. This is a tool built for the community, by a member of the community.
