Hey everyone! I’m the founder of What Did My Doctor Say? (WDMDS) — and I built this because I’ve seen firsthand, as both a doctor and a patient, how hard it is to actually understand your own medical records. Portals are overwhelming. Notes are full of jargon. And most health tech tools either too generic (you remember that print out you get with generic info after your doctor's visit?) or overwhelming. I wanted something different for patients. What makes WDMDS unique is that it connects to real health records—from over 25,000 U.S. healthcare providers—and uses AI to explain your actual care in plain English with your actual data. No more uploading screenshots or PDFs to ChatGPT. No fakes, no summaries, no guesswork. Just clarity. What I’m most proud of? It shouldn't take a medical degree to feel in control of your health anymore. That’s the heart of this.
