Hey everyone, I’m really grateful (and a little nervous) to be sharing Emente with you today. We built Emente because mental health tools often feel cold, clinical, or just... disconnected from how real people feel day to day. I wanted something that felt like a real conversation — warm, supportive, and actually helpful when you're feeling low, anxious, or just not yourself. Emente is a mental wellness companion that checks in with you like a caring friend. It’s built on clinical frameworks like PHQ-9 and GAD-7, but we’ve reimagined everything to feel more human — casual chats instead of forms, playful answers instead of stiff scales, and feedback that makes sense without needing a therapist to interpret it. We’re still early. The goal isn’t to replace therapy — it’s to give people a starting point. A safe space to check in with themselves and maybe even feel a little better afterward.
