We built cardy because traditional business cards no longer reflect how we work, connect, or think about sustainability. People are networking faster, remotely, and across platforms—yet they still rely on paper cards that are easily lost, outdated, or thrown away. With cardy, we wanted to offer a frictionless, digital-first alternative that lives in your Apple or Google Wallet, is easy to update, and leaves a strong impression—without wasting resources. What’s unique about this launch is how cardy blends simplicity, mobile-native UX, and brand-forward design, all without requiring users or recipients to download any app. It’s contactless, customizable, and always up-to-date—perfect for individuals and teams alike. We’re most proud of the fact that we’ve built something truly useful, beautifully minimal, and immediately practical for real-world use. With cardy, you’re not just sharing contact info—you’re making a statement about how you work and what you stand for.

I think this is key, and it's the best solution I've seen so far that aims to replace the traditional business card. I can see this service functioning similar to Linktree, but with a far better way to share contact info/socials in-person.

The white labeling and stats make sense to put in a subscription plan, but you could also sell themes/designs on a transactional basis, and limit the free-use tier to a per-use basis (i.e.

(X number of contact shares free; $Y for Z more additional shares), while still potentially including subscription-functionality like stats. This would allow you to charge for more premium features to users that may not want the lock-in of a subscription plan.
