Applied Research Platform

Hi, I am Sergei and I am the creator of Applied Research Platform (ARP). As an ex-physics researcher and somebody that develops scientific software during my regular job, I browse arXiv a lot. I decided to make a tool that automatically retrieves research papers from arXiv and uses AI to highlight how they can be useful in real-life applications or for commercial purposes.

ARP automatically pulls papers from arXiv and uses AI to:
-Summarize key findings in plain language (Background & Context, Real-World Problems Solved, Market Analysis, Immediate Ideas for Startups/Patents),
-Categorize them into industries based on the Global Industry Classification Standard
-Score their real-world/commercial potential
-Find similar papers using semantic search

My goal is to make research more accessible and actionable, not just for researchers and tech builders but also for business people, hobbyists and anybody that wanting to stay on top of innovation in a field.

I am currently working on adding functionality to improve usability like a "Favourites" and "Lists" feature that will help you stay more organized, backfilling older research papers, improving search and documentation, among other features.
