Hi everyone!

We've seen protocols like MCP and A2A. Now, AG-UI is here. It's a new open protocol to set a standard for how AI agents connect and work with front-end apps.

AG-UI is a simple, event-based system. It lets AI agents send live updates to apps and helps people work together with agents in real time. This can support things like UIs that change as you use them and letting agents use tools in the app. It's made to be flexible, so it works with many agent tools like LangGraph and CrewAI, and different ways of sending data.

AG-UI is interesting on its own, but we're all still trying to figure out the best ways for people to interact with AI agents, we're still standing in front of the door of the ultimate way to interact with AI. I believe AG-UI showing up now can help everyone explore and find these new 'Agentic UI/UX' methods faster.

Standardizing AI-frontend connections? Finally, agents and UIs speaking the same language!

I gave AG-UI a try and it’s incredibly well-thought-out — finally a lightweight, open protocol that makes connecting AI agents to frontends smooth and real-time. The support for LangGraph and CrewAI is a huge plus. Feels like a foundational piece for building smarter, more interactive apps.

This looks awesome. Congrats on the launch. We recently launched Mukh.1 too, AI agents that help automate everyday workflows. Would love your thoughts!

Congrats, we do need a common user interface to LangGraph and CrewAI. Besides Node, you should have also an example for JS in the browser for Web Agentic AI is gaining traction and it would facilitate developers work. Anyway, thanks for AG-UI!
