I have tons of hand-written journals, and I tried many apps for digital journaling. But I'm very old school when it comes to writing down my thoughts and my challenges. I need a pen in my hand and a nice diary to be able to get into the flow of writing, in order to get things out of my system. So obviously, digital diary apps never worked for me, but I still had to find a way to see patterns in order to get better at managing my life. I experimented with uploading journal pages to chatgpt, but that didn't get me far. And I really didn't want to share my most intimate thoughts with an openly accessible ai. Pensori is the only app I have found, which allows me to digitalize, transcribe and analyze my diaries. What I find really interesting is, that I can search through my formerly only hand-written journals as if they were always digital. I can ask questions, have the app give me unbiased advice or even tell me in which situations I feel most vulnerable or whatever else comes to mind. A really interesting bonus is, that Pensori is even able to create a book from my journals. Not just my original entries copied, but it turns my diary into a novel, a self-help book or anything else I want. It is really, really amazing to read about your life and experiences as if it were a thriller written by someone else. For some reason, that makes things so much more clear. Everyone who is interested in self-improvement, journaling, or who found a bunch of their parents old diaries, should give it a try. It is truly mind-blowing, trust me.
